The grief and loss after Courtney’s miscarriage led to her substance use disorder. After surviving a drug overdose, she started her journey towards recovery.

My Journey to Recovery as a Veteran

Kimberly, a Navy veteran, found healing when she reconnected with her faith. Her family was her support system which gave her strength to persevere through the challenges of addiction recovery.

Sorayda experienced alcohol and opioid use disorder at a young age. After joining Celebrate Recovery, she bloomed in recovery with the support of her sisters.

Her kids were removed from her care as a result of her substance use disorder and after receiving treatment and remaining sober she has been able to get her kids back.

Finding Healing Through Family

She originally hid her opioid use disorder from her family, fearing shame. When she was able to be truthful about her disorder she got the help she needed with the support of her family.
